Hello, and welcome!
My name is Audrey Cuellar, and I am a Reading Specialist at John H. Shary Elementary. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from UTPA (now UTRGV) and a Master’s in Advanced Literacy Instruction from Concordia University Texas in Austin. As a state-certified Reading Specialist, I am passionate about fostering a love for reading and helping students develop strong literacy skills.
With 16 years of experience in education, I am dedicated to creating engaging and supportive learning environments. In addition to my role as a Reading Specialist, I also serve as our school's 2nd Grade Spelling Coach, Spelling Bee Sponsor, and Daycare Administrator.
I look forward to working with students, parents, and colleagues to support literacy growth and academic success!
