Welcome to 2nd Grade!
I am so happy to finally start the 2024-25 school year with you! I hope you had a great restful summer full of excitement and are now ready to begin your 2nd grade journey. I am one of the reading and writing teachers in this grade level, which consists of me and three other amazing teachers that I am so grateful and blessed to work with. My goal is to prepare you for the following school year. Between now and May, I hope to make you an even better and fluent reader. Together, we will make this the BEST YEAR EVER!!!
I am very proud to be a product of Sharyland ISD myself. I attended this district from kinder to 12th. After graduating high school, I moved to Arlington, Texas where I received my bachelor's in interdisciplinary studies from UT-Arlington. A few years later I moved back to the Valley to continue my education at UTPA (now UTRGV) where I received my masters in gifted education. A fun fact about me: I love to zip line! :)
